Georgia’s Blog, the meaning of life

What is the meaning of life? I guess everyone interprets it differently, for me it has to be love.

Not just to love and be loved, but to love your life. Of course it is hard to love every aspect, but if you look from the outside in, digesting the pro’s and con’s, it should be mainly ‘pro’ and the bad always bringing some good, somehow.

My life may not be perfect, but I wouldn’t change one thing for the world, my family is great. I honestly couldn’t ask for a more fun-loving, caring group of people to be fortunate enough to call family. My friends are so close to me that they are my family too.

So looking at it, things are imperfectly perfect. Of course I may not be where I wish to be in life, but I know I will get there. I just have to focus on the now and not let any precious memories slip by.

I am probably happier than I have been in a long time, everything with work is going well and I have a good foundation for the future I desire. I have the opportunity to travel and the zest to see more of the world with each moment passing.  There’s nothing about my life that I would trade, despite at times wishing things were different. However, if given the opportunity to change, I would keep everything as it is.

For me, the meaning of life is love, and that in itself can be interpreted in many ways – the love for what you do, the people you know, the home you live in, and to love the promise of the future, which I do, I love it all.  There’s nothing stronger than love and at times it is so underrated, we should love more and put more passion in to everything we do.

I saw on a social media account a ‘happiness’ challenge. Every week they put a happiness post with quotes and steps to the best way to be happy. Of course there’s no need to dedicate a post on social media about happiness, it should be in your life by your own determination. However when I saw that post, it did make me happy. It’s a universal thing, if you can make yourself happy, well done, but if you can make someone else happy at the expense of your own happiness, well then you will find true peace.

Relating to that post, I thought about sharing the ‘love’ and somehow making others feel loved by being themselves in the process, so here is my first post about love, I hope if you don’t already, that you learn to love yourself –  then everything good will follow.

I love how everything is different. Try to look for that difference and learn to love it, for when you love different clothes, hair, eyes, you will love everything. (which is a big ask)
